Neighbourhood
Take advantage of being away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist hotspots, in this pretty street showcasing architecture from the belle époque years. Rest assured that fantastic restaurants surround you nevertheless, and the beach and main shopping areas remain close at hand, should you want to stroll around the city in true Niçois style. One can never go wrong enjoying warm morning croissants from the bakery just around the corner (turn right down Rue Dalpozzo).
The Pedestrian zone, a local hotspot with dining and shopping opportunities a-plenty, is a mere five-minute walk away. The beach and famous Promenade des Anglais can be reached in five to ten minutes. This central location does indeed offer you the best of both worlds.
The train station located just ten minutes away from your Nice holiday accommodationoffers you links to all the other cities on the French Riviera. Explore the Italian food markets in Ventimiglia, or chose to chase the stars on the red carpet in Cannes. The possibilities are endless, and we can guarantee that you will be hungry for more.

Building
Quietly nestled on an elevated, ground floor of a beautiful Belle Époque building, Castle Jolie is easily accessible.
The gorgeous entrance with its original marble floors and large wooden doors is impressive, offering a romantic taste for what is to come.
Extremely well kept, and in a fantastic location, this building satisfies every desire.
This vacation rental in the Nice Carré d'Or area is set across two floors, and is indeed truly special. While the first floor is open plan and airy, downstairs is very cosy and private. This holiday rental apartment gathers rooms that anyone would be proud to douse in superlatives, including luxurious, stately, lush, and grand. With a breath-taking array of styles, materials, and colours matched in endless combination, these rooms are set to inspire awe in all who enter.
There is free underground parking available, in the building around the corner.
Living Area
Prepare to be taken aback as you discover the open plan living/dining area. The splendid chandelier immediately announces the elegance of this fine room.
The sense of luxury abounds with a beautiful mirror hanging ornately over the marble fireplace. Soaring ceilings accommodate the large French windows that open onto a little balcony. Enjoy the peaceful view over the pretty garden while you sip your morning coffee and indulge in the sunshine the South of France constantly enjoys.
Comfort is also emphasized in this room. Stretch out on the chaise longue fit for a queen, or sit back in the large inviting sofa. The room easily welcomes six guests, has a lush dark wood coffee table with an extra large flat screen TV, wifi, DVD player, and French cable.
The lavish appointments continue into the dining area including intriguing art pieces, a glossy contemporary dining table, matched with eight plush dining chairs.
Kitchen
Kitchens can quickly become a convivial place to gather, the central hub of any living space. Castle Joli seamlessly combines the utilitarian necessity of a kitchen, perfectly equipped for cooking, with an undeniable pleasing aesthetic, tempting us to linger just that little bit longer.
The elegant flowered wallpaper contrasts deliciously with the cream work surfaces and colossal chandelier. The fireplace, quirky appliances, and vintage posters add to the creative and unique interior design, one can find in this holiday rental apartment.
Spacious, and well-appointed, cooking is made an easy and pleasurable task in this beautiful kitchen. Find everything you could possibly need, from a microwave, oven, four-ring ceramic hob, full sized fridge-freezer, dishwasher, sink and plenty of work top space. Be inspired by the creative décor, and let your imagination flow as you concoct your next culinary delight.
A contemporary white dining table stands in the corner, with comfortable seating for three. Perfect for a quick breakfast before a day out exploring the town of Nice, or for a casual chat with a cheeky glass of wine, as your appointed chef works his magic.
Bedrooms
Comfort and luxury remain the key elements throughout the apartment, and into the master bedroom. Dominated by an enormous Super king plush bed, it invites you for a delightful night’s rest. The bed is of grand design with its four ornately carved posts.
The mixed patterns and textures of this master bedroom create a varied but comfortable space, fit for royalty. Indeed, luxury wallpaper adorns the wall at the head of the bed and another chandelier hangs above an old style chaise longue. At each side of the bed are two side tables with reading lamps.
Find a classic wardrobe to store your garments and a vanity area, adding that final touch of vintage elegance. Heavy curtains hang in front of the windows for your ultimate privacy.
The other two bedrooms are located downstairs in this Nice vacation rental. This floor can be reached by a spiral metallic staircase.
Find a Queen-sized double bed in the first room, as well as two bedside tables and a beautiful traditional wooden wardrobe, for your belongings. The vivacious cream and red flowered wallpaper really lightens up the room, and comes to mix delightfully with the signature chandelier.
The second room is cosy and compact. With two single beds, its offers the perfect choice for children or friends. Elegance features through striped wallpaper and decadent dark plush headrests. It is as practical as it is beautiful with an expansive wardrobe on one wall.
Bathrooms & WC
The main bathroom can be found on the upper level and shows us that convenience and function does not have to be sacrificed for style and comfort. The bold, dark wooden floor cuts a long, spacious path towards the floating porcelain sink standing to the right of the room, opposite the toilet. A lavish soaking tub fills the end of the space below a lovely silver towel warmer. A chandelier completes the luxurious space.
The second smaller bathroom is on the lower level. A luxury shower stands in the corner. A toilet, washbasin with vanity cabinetry, mirror and a towel rail complete this fully tiled and perfectly appointed space.

-- Beach towels are available in apt, but must be left clean, ready for the next guest. Otherwise, a supplement of 15€ per beach towel will be charged via credit card upon departure.

My family and I stayed at the lovely Castly Jolie in June 2022. Everything was wonderful. Location was just a 5 minute walk to the beach through quaint old world streets. The management was super helpful and arranged for airport transfers to a from Nice airport. Loved our stay and hope to be back one day!

Die grosszügige und komfortabel eingerichtete Wohnung ist an bester Lage, für ein Besuch der Strandpromenade oder der Altstadt. Angenehm ist auch die Möglichkeit einen Parkplatz im Parkhaus nebenan nutzen zu können. Der Blick vom Wohn- und Esszimmer in den Garten und der kleine Balkon in den Garten sind sehr schön. Die hohen Räume und die kleinen Details bei der Einrichtung und Dekoration geben einen sehr wohnlichen aber auch dekorativen Charakter. Die Betreuung bei der Buchung, Anreise und dem Aufenthalt war perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder, vielen Dank.
The spacious and comfortably furnished apartment is in the best location for visiting the beach promenade or the old town. It is also convenient to be able to use a parking space in the multi-storey car park next door. The view of the garden from the living and dining room and the small balcony in the garden are very nice. The high rooms and the small details in the furnishing and decoration give a very homely but also decorative character. The support during the booking, arrival and stay was perfect. We'd love to come back, thank you.

I cannot describe how beautiful this property is. The location is perfect-close to the beach, shops, restaurants & sidewalk cafes France is famous for. On a quiet street in a picturesque Belle Époque building, with plenty of room for the 5 of us. Catherine was very helpful answering questions & providing recommendations when asked. Communication was top notch. Highly recommend you; cannot go wrong staying here. I'm already planning my return trip. The only suggestion I would make is to have a lighter weight blanket for the summer months; it was too hot for the duvets on the bed. Bruno happily produced fans that made it better though. Would still return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful place in a central location! Very clean with all amenities including beach towels. There is a built-in baby gate as there is a spiral staircase down to the first floor. A/C worked well throughout the apartment as did the washer and dryer. Full fridge and freezer and the dishwasher were very helpful for meals in. WiFi was strong. Would love to stay again!

As a family of six attending the World Cup, this property met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations. We were sweetly greeted at check in and given detailed instructions. Everything was immaculate and the location was perfect. We walked to so many places and always felt safe. The kitchen was well stocked, and the washer and dryer were a bonus. I hope we can stay here again someday.

This rental is so much more beautiful than you can imagine! As gorgeous as its photos, you won’t believe you can be in Nice and pay such a reasonable price. The walk to the beach is less than 10 minutes, and along a min enjoyable street full of restaurants, souvenir stores, and wonderful shops. I wish I could truly convey how wonderful the location is. My best recommendation is just - stay here! You’ll be so glad you did. The kitchen is a dream, the living areas are stunning, and the bedrooms are so comfortable. This is the ideal place to stay in Nice. Rent it and enjoy!

We stayed here for 3 nights in Feb whilst visiting Nice for the carnival and it didn’t disappoint. The apartment was beautiful, clean and spacious! A short walk from the promenade and close to many local amenities. One of the added bonuses was we booked through Sunlight properties whose customer service was second to none. Catherine who works for them couldn’t do enough to ensure everything was in place prior to our stay. Then on the day of arrival both Catherine and Diana were able to assist in mitigating what could have been a disaster quickly and efficiently. Perfect stay, I couldn’t recommend booking this property through Sunlight properties enough.

We were five adults staying here for one week. All the arrangements were very well organised including pickup from the airport which was great. The apartment filled all our needs. It was spacious, clean and the location was perfect. I would highly recommend this to everyone who appreciate homelike living in a fancy apartment.

A great apartment with a 5-min walk to the nearest beach. 3 bedrooms( two of them underground), a huge living room with comfy sofas and armchairs and a tiny balcony. A kitchen fully equipped in all the utensils. The only problem is a noise coming from the plumbing system whenever somebody uses a bathroom but earplugs help to deal with this problem. Shops and a nice bakery 3- min walk from the apartment. 2 bottles of welcome wine is a nice gesture! I really recommend the place.

Great location, beautifully decorated, cool and comfortable. We loved the bakery around the corner for fresh morning pastries. The walk to vieux Nice was about a mile but past lots of great window shopping so it was no problem, and we were only a short walk from the beach.

We were family group spending some time looking round Nice. The apartment is cool in every sense and very stylish without being intimidating. The building is a few streets back from the sea and very quiet, the seats on the balcony overlooking the peaceful garden were well used. We ate in the comfortable kitchen regularly and particularly liked the Smeg fridge. There is a handy supermarket and plenty places to eat nearby. We visited Monaco and St Paul de Vence and plan to see Eze on our next visit. Living in this apartment you feel you are trying out being a real citizen of Nice.

Our party of four enjoyed are stay at this well appointed and modern apartment. The furniture, bedding, linens and other fixtures were nice quality. The apartment is quiet and comfortable and we appreciated the a/c on evenings when it was still warm. Everything was in working order and we particularly liked the wonderful espresso machine and complimentary bottle of wine that was waiting for us. Communications was great with Dana and she was very helpful. The apartment is in an older building with large doors, a voluminous entry way and many steps. There is a lift to the 2nd floor and additional steps to get to the apartment door; you will walk off your pasta and gelato if you just use the steps! With the older building you will notice changes in water pressure and temperature - not the fault of the landlord, this is typical of older buildings so this may be frustrating if you are expecting long, warm showers. We enjoyed our stay in this large and conveniently located apartment and would recommend it to others.

Nice neighborhood around with lots of restaurants, supermarkets around the corners. . Great boutiques. The apartment is big and comfortable for a party of 5 . Beautiful kitchen in blue cobalt. Rooms big and comfy. The laundry room should be in a decorator magazine. Love this place and highly recommend. The company who manage the apartment always available to help and the best they arrange our ways to the train station and the airport. I will be back to this place and to Nice. (April 2016 - USA)

We had a fantastic long weekend in Nice staying at Castle Jolie. It's perfect placed for the beach and the old town. It's brilliantly equipped (including a coffee percolator which was a concern for our group!), dish washer, large fridge etc etc... The apartment is beautifully furnished with perfect little balcony over looking the garden (no access to this). There's not one thing I can think of that would have improved our stay. Sunlight were also a real pleasure to deal with. Even helping us out with a couple of restaurant reservations when I couldn't get through to them from the UK. They responded promptly to my emails with clear and concise answers and made everything run very smoothly during our stay. We had two groups arriving separately and they arranged cars to pick both up. We would definitely use them again and stay at Castle Jolie again.

What a wonderful apartment! Full of old world charm that we miss so much at home. It proved to be a delightful home to come back to after a hot day of touring the beautiful coast. We particularly enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, and prepared several Niçois meals after purchasing fresh ingredients from the open air market. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax in. We have had such a wonderful and relaxing holiday here! Such a beautiful and homely apartment, it has been a pleasure to stay here! it's such a great location - easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and train station. We have done several day trips from here - going to Monaco, St Paul de Vence and Grasse. We would definitely recommend Monaco and St Paul, they were both such beautiful and interesting places. Very amazing apartment. We had plenty of space and we were able to have beautiful memories here! We were close to everything including the train station and were able to make day/night trips to Antibes and Monaco. We will definitely come back soon and hope to have another wonderful vacation!
