Located in the hinterland of Nice, the village of La Gaude is one of those idyllic hilltop villages that remains a somewhat hidden gem. Its elevated position provides beautiful views but also welcomed freshness during the hot summer months.
If you can drag yourself away from all the comfort and beauty, everything here is at your doorstep. The village of La Gaude is a few minutes drive away – local markets held on Saturdays.
This area offers wonderful walking, hiking, cycling through the diverse landscapes, and even golf in incredible settings. The Baou of Gaude and Baou de St Jeannet are two of most impressive mountains in the area – and tend to that attract climbers and hikers for the many trail options.
Nice is just 10km away – you’ll love to stroll around in its colorful Old Tpwn and enjoy its ever-evolving food scene. The dreamy beaches of the French Riviera are also within 10-15km away. In the opposite direction, you’ll find the glamorous city of Cannes, only 25km away. A little closer is the pretty village of Saint Paul de Vence, only 5km away – you’ll enjoy its lovely sun-flooder center, its many restaurants and the Maegt Art Foundation. Vence is also worth a view for the gentle atmosphere of its medieval village and its modern art museum. Antibes will also seduce you with its old Town, Port and Fort Carré.

This charming Provençale home will delight guests with its Mediterranean garden and views over the hills. The peaceful neighbourhood offers an idyllic setting where one can easily spend days relaxing by the pool and soaking up the tranquillity, just 20 mins away from the bustling city of Nice.
All on one level, the villa has been thoughtfully furnished with pretty touches as well as comfort in mind giving it a homely feel. This holiday rental home enjoys a private gated entrance, and parking space for up to three cars (one sheltered spot).
Bright and welcoming, the living are offers view on the garden and pool area through, large sliding doors. The original wooden beams add charm to this comfortable area when families can come together to relax, play a boardgame or watch a film together.
For your leisure, there is a TV, DVD player and the all important Wi-Fi.
Bay windows open onto a sheltered patio, with a little lounge area. Perfect for al fresco aperitifs!
There are also two sun loungers that can be used to enjoy sun in the garden.
The sleek open plan kitchen will delight all travelling chefs. It has all you will need for any holiday cooking you want to do. There is plenty of space for food preparation, along with an American fridge/freezer (and ice maker), dishwasher, oven, microwave and four-ring hob. A breakfast bar with four stools come to complete this bright space.
A dining table with matching chairs stands adjacent to the breakfast bar, perfect for sit-down family meals.
Both bedroom are spacious and well appointed. They both enjoy double-glazed windows, ceiling fans and black-out blinds for comfortable nights of restful sleep.
Finished in subtle tones, the master rooms enjoys a King size bed (160cm) with bedside tables and reading lamps either side. A large wardrobe provides plenty of storage space for all your clothes and belongings.
The second bedroom boasts two single beds – perfect for friends or children. A bedside table and a large fitted wardrobe comes to complete the space.
Both bathrooms are en-suite to their respective bedrooms. They have been beautifully renovated in a soft modern style with marble tiles.
The master bedroom enjoys a large Italian walk-in shower with rainhead, toilet, a washbasin with vanity unit, mirror and heated towel rail.
The second bathroom shares a similar set-up with shower, toilet, mirror and washbasin.
There is a separate laundry room with a washing machine and laundry line (no dryer).

-- Beach towels are available in the holiday rental property, but must be left clean, ready for the next guest. Otherwise, a supplement of 15€ per beach towel will be charged via credit card upon departure.
