The Promenade des Anglais is the most famous stretch of seafront in Nice – if not France – a vast paved promenade, which gets its name from the English expat patrons who paid for it in 1822. It runs for the whole 4km sweep of the Baie des Anges with a dedicated lane for cyclists and skaters.
Enjoy views of the sparkling blue from the comfort of your balcony, or as you stroll by the line of restaurants and famous pebbly beaches.
Take a break at any time, on one of the famous Nice “blue chairs” and soak in the sun. A real cure of Vitamin-sea awaits!
Skyblue is located in the Magnan area of the Promenade. A blend of grand hotels and historic apartment blocks typical of the French Riviera line the seafront.
Rue de Californie, the street that runs parallel to the Promenade des Anglais offers the convenience of everything close at hand. Find a large selection of boulangeries, supermarkets and local restaurants.
Getting around will not be an issue as the bus stop is on your doorstep, as is the tramline that runs from the airport to the city centre. The “Fabron” stop is less than 1 minute away from the main building entrance. You can access the Old Town of Nice in a few minutes using these regular services. At 1.50€ / ride, it’s a very tempting option!
For the more active, the Vélo bleu (public bicycles) are available to rent at multiple parking ports along the Promenade and make for a very pleasant way to roam from one end of Nice to the other for a couple of Euros.
If you choose to stroll down the Promenade then the pedestrianised centre of Nice, with Place Masséna is approximately 20 minutes away and the Old Town of Nice just a few minutes more.

This short term holiday rental apartment in Nice is located in the same building as our other vacation rental apartment Sunrise. It’s also located near our properties Ruby and Parisian Bleu.
This holiday rental apartment is located in a well-maintained modern building straight on the Promenade des Anglais, equipped with security gates and a live-in concierge.
An elevator will take you to the 4th floor where you will find this gorgeous modern apartment. The floor-to-ceiling windows draw in soft natural light while also showcasing sweeping views of the sparkling blue Mediterranean sea.
Seafront properties are rare on the rental market, and with the 180° panoramic view of the Baie des Anges, guests will quickly understand what a must-experience they are!
As you walk into the living room, it’s hard not to be taken aback by the stunning sea views, delightfully framed by the large bay windows.
A second glance reveals a spacious living area, that has been thoughtfully renovated with comfort and style in mind. The sleek and modern interior is echoed throughout the décor, with pops of colour, achieving a contemporary aesthetic well suited to its downtown location. The aero-themed art on the walls is a gentle nod to the owner’s profession and hobby – aeroplane pilot.
This stylish space features the perfect setting for living and entertaining: contemporary couches and stylish armchairs surround a glass table. These face a large flat-screen TV, ideal for movie nights in. Wi-Fi, French cable TV including music channels & English channels news channels are available for guests’ entertainment.
A stylish desk comes to complete this exquisitely furnished corner, a high contender for the world’s best home-office view. Should you need to work during your stay, you can comfortably do so with this set-up.
The second half of the room offers the perfect dining space, with a large glass table, modern lighting and comfortable seating for 6-8 guests.

Double-glazed glass doors fold back to open the living area to the exterior. The balcony/terrace comes with an outdoor lounge area, laced with classy white pillows. It offers comfortable seating for 4. There is also a table with chairs to seat 4 as a nice al fresco dining option. Last but definitely not least, find two sun loungers in order to bask in the sunlight – should you wish for an alternative to the beach.
Designed with your inner-chef in mind, the gourmet kitchen comes fully-equipped with slate-grey countertops, matching splashbacks, and top-notch appliances. It includes a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, grill/oven and an induction ceramic four ring hob. A Nespresso machine sits in the corner to ensure your morning coffee is as good as the morning sunrise.
One of our favourite features is the one-way black-out window that separates the kitchen from the dining area – meaning that the chef can cook up a storm “privately” whilst also being able to enjoy the landscape/sea-views.
All three bedrooms are delightfully appointed and enjoy their own en suite bathrooms. Perfect for small groups or families looking to enjoy the South of France together.
From sunrise to sunset, the Master bedroom showcases breathtaking views of the blues – sea & sky. Wake up to the most incredible hues from the comfort of the floating double bed (160x190cm).
Complete with plush pillows, bedside tables, reading lamps, and last but not least, his-and-hers wardrobes, this spacious bedroom is a luxury to come back to every night. Black-out shutters are available to allow for a morning sleep-in.
Beyond the views – the key feature of this bedroom is without a doubt, the luxurious open-plan en suite bathroom, including a gorgeous bath-tub. Rarely does an opportunity present itself to enjoy a soothing bubble bath with a sea view! Sit back and relax...
The other two bedrooms are equally stylish with clever finishing touches. Furnished with comfortable double beds (140x190cm), both enjoy built-in closets, hanging space. They face the inner courtyard of the building.
All three bedrooms enjoy air conditioning.
Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom.
The two double bedrooms enjoy beautifully tiled walk-in showers, a vanity unit, sink and mirror with overhead lighting. The first bedroom has the added benefit of an additional WC.
The en suite bathroom in the master bedroom takes luxury to new heights. The sleek tiled walls come to contrast with the gorgeous marble floor, hosting a beautiful ceramic bathtub that faces the sea. Guests will also find a large walk-in shower with Italian rain head and fun lighting.
A floating vanity unit with double sink, polished chrome fixtures, gorgeous back-lit mirror, WC and bidet come to complete this beautifully appointed bathroom.

Lovely property with private entrance directly into the apartment. Very well appointed kitchen with everything you could need. Unit as pictured, if not better in person. Beds are very comfortable with ample amount of nice pillows. Slept well as double paned windows with automatic blackout window covering , kept the room dark and quiet in the master. The other 2 bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. Having a shower in each bedroom was very convenient. Plenty of Hot water, never ran our even with 3 people showering at the same time. Washer and dryer in unit is quiet. Terrace view is wonderful. Very convenient location to sea, bus/train, shops, airport. Close enough to old town to walk or get on bus--the bus stop is steps from the unit , but far enough away to avoid the noise of the crowds and cars and buses. The airport transfer driver included with the booking was so pleasant, she offered helpful suggestions as we drove just 10 minutes or so to the flat. Very professional with a spotlessly clean car. She was very personable and spoke perfect English. Bruno greeted us at the apartment with a big smile, he was very professional as he showed how to use the the elevator--key fob and codes--, appliances, television and remotes for the high tech lighting, blinds and awnings. He even brought my husband down and around for the garbage bins. This later became very useful. We purchased the lunch packages from one of the additional options offered for a fee of 75 euros. Bruno had already placed everything in the refrigerator along with a nice wine. Plenty of fresh fruit, a nice selection of cheeses, fresh breads. This was a value to us, as we were able to settle in with our meal already there. The grocery, bakery, pharmacy, small restaurants. tobacco shop, gasoline station and ATM were all very, very, very close by. We also added the extra towel package for 15 euros. This was a value to us as we didn't have to spend a lot of time washing towels. The unit had ample bath & hand towels, kitchen towels and each bedroom had beach towels. We are kinda neat/clean freaks, there was plenty of cleaning supplies on hand to maintain the cleanliness of the unit during our stay. Any communication with Catherine at Sunlight Properties-- was prompt and professional. Bruno also, gave us his cell number and answered the phone on 1st ring. A couple of texts were replied to immediately. Note: This was my first time using Airbnb! I was somewhat apprehensive about staying in an Airbnb. Any fear I had was dissolved with my experience with Sunlight properties employees and staff. I will use Airbnb again, however, any future stays will have to measure up to this wonderful experience.

Lejlighedens placering nær havet var fantastisk. Og med toget var der nemt at komme til og fra indre by, hvor der ligger en masse fantastiske spisesteder. Klart anbefalelsesværdigt. The location of the apartment near the sea was fantastic. And with the tram, it was easy to get to and from downtown, where there are a lot of great eateries. Definitely recommendable.

It was as its name! Skyblue. The views of promenade des anglais was breathtaking. Easy access to the beach, center of nice and even the airport, this property is everything you need if you want to have a relaxing vacation. The highlight of the property was the master bed with the views. Everything was clean and up to the mark with the arrangements. Kitchen too is fully equipped for one to make light meals and stay in after a long tiring day. Last but not the least the Host gave us a great tour of the place understanding how everything works and if we need anything we could reach out anytime. This property is your go to for sure if you want to have a great time! Tip- Property didnt include parking which we missed checking, but finding parking can be a pain so account for it :)
