Neighbourhood

The apartment is situated on the west side of Nice, in the Magnan Quartier. The beach is just a couple of minutes away, as are mini super markets, small restaurants, boulangeries, and pizzerias all around.

This is a great area if you are seeking a beach holiday, but wish to head into the city every so often. Frequent bus services run during the day and taxis all night to take you into the hub of the shopping areas and the buzzing nightlife of the Old Town! It takes just 5-10 minute by taxi to the Old Town and Port areas.

There are also ‘Velo Blue’ (public bicycles) available along the Promenade, which you can rent for a lovely ride along the seaside to the Cours Saleya market to buy fresh flowers and produce. Alternatively, an easy 20-minute walk will bring you downtown and in less than 10 minutes to the famous Negresco Hotel.

This short term holiday rental apartment in Nice is located near other vacation rental apartments: Parisian Bleu and Sunrise. 

 

Building

The holiday rental apartment is located on the fourth floor of a secure building with double-gates. The entry hall still bares the charming original post-boxes. The building itself overlooks the famous Promenade des Anglais, the inspiration for many artists along the years. 

A lift will take you to the 4th  floor. 

The balcony is private to your property, and has an awning that can be rolled out, should you wish for shade.  The awning is electric powered.

Living Area

There is a large flat-screen television with several channels, magazines and a portable speaker set. WiFi is included. Find relaxation on the comfortable 3-seater settee, or the soft armchair, a coffee table. An AC unit keeps the room nice and cool during the summer.

With smart interior design features, the space flows effortlessly and calmly. It is decorated in shades of beige and blue with subtle lighting.

The living space extends to the balcony, where you can enjoy endless apéritifs whilst gazing at the sun set over the sparkling Mediterranean.

There are electric shutters to the front balcony that can be lowered at night for total security.

Kitchen

The simply white kitchen finds itself nestled between the living room and the bedroom area. It is perfectly equipped with all the kitchen essentials.

Find a 2-ring ceramic hob, microwave (a dual convection oven/microwave), a sandwich maker also, dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, and full-sized fridge with integrated freezer.

 

Bedrooms

The main bedroom has a king size bed (160cm), double wardrobe, two bedside tables with small reading lamps. It benefits from a window from which you can see the streets of Nice. Roll out of bed and wander out to the balcony and enjoy one of the beautiful sunrises Nice has to offer.

The second bedroom is adjacent to the first one and enjoys a double sized bed (150cm). Please note that bed can be lifted up and secured in this position in order to create space for a cot, dressing area or suitcase storage. It is quite high in its "down" position and therefore not recommended for elderly or very young children (under 5).

Both bedrooms enjoy remote control electric shutters as well as AC.

 

Bathrooms & WC

The bathroom is a smart, stucco-tiled room with shower, and sink.  It has a rustic-style basin.

There is a separate WC.

-- Beach towels are available in the holiday rental property, but must be left clean, ready for the next guest. Otherwise, a supplement of 15€ per beach towel will be charged via credit card upon departure.

En virkelig dejlig lejlighed. Ligger perfekt ud til middelhavet med den dejligste udsigt. Der er lidt støj fra Promenaden, men det opvejes af den skønne udsigt. Man nyder virkelig livet på den store dejlige altan hvor man kan slappe af i de behagelige møbler. En stor dejlig stue, samt dejligt soveværelse, et lille værelse hvor sengen har en sjov detalje da den kan hæves. Alt i alt en skøn lejlighed. Beliggenheden er perfekt, i gå afstand til næsten alt - supermarkeder, cafeer, pizzarier, en lille dejlig bager og en lille hyggelig lille restaurant hvor betjeningen er i top ligesom maden og til en rimelig pris. Du kan gå ind til torvet på under en time, men der kører også busser med få min. mellemrum. Vi ser frem til at besøge stedet igen. A really nice apartment. Perfectly located next to the Mediterranean Sea with the most beautiful views. There is little noise from the Promenade, but it is offset by the beautiful view. You really enjoy life on the large, lovely balcony where you can relax in the comfortable furniture. A large lovely living room, as well as a lovely bedroom, a small room where the bed has a fun detail as it can be raised. All in all, a wonderful apartment. The location is perfect, within walking distance to almost everything - supermarkets, cafes, pizzas, a small lovely bakery and a small cozy little restaurant where the service is top notch like the food and at a reasonable price. You can enter the square in less than an hour, but there are also buses with a few minutes. gap. We look forward to visiting the place again.
