This lovely apartment for 4 is located minutes from the beach, the Cours Saleya farmer’s market, Old Town and the tramway. Enjoy the eclectic historic port area with its ships at harbour and antiques shops galore simply by stepping out your front door.
Awash with sidewalk French-Italian Cafés, cool restaurants, and the mysterious trinket & baubles world of French flea markets, this area will lull you towards a world of near-magical intrigue.
The Historic Port boasts the perfect area for searching out hidden swimming coves, spots for cliff rock diving and hiking on the stunning coastal path of the Sentier du Littoral which takes you all the way to Villefranche sur Mer.
In a classic Nicoise building, the common areas are clean and secure, with both an outside gate code and a building key for the main building entryway. There is an elevator or stairway, which takes you directly up to the 1st floor, where you’ll find apartment L’Artiste.
Simple, with clean modern lines and a hint of old world charm, the living area is an open plan with the kitchen and dining area to either sides of the main relaxing space.
A couch for two sits in front of the flat screen TV, along with a large coffee table. There is a comfy antique reading chair with reading lamp, and a lovely lilac wall to soften the mood. A mix of original artwork and Chagall reproductions, bring originality and colour to the décor.
The Entertainment system includes a 3D flat screen TV with eye glasses for 4, cable with English News channels, a DVD Blue Ray player, WiFi, and a phone for free international calls.
There is an air conditioning unit with remote control.
The sofa can be transformed into a double bed. This apartment can therefore accommodate up to 4 people. Please note there is an additional charge for sofa bed linen & towels in order to accommodate 4 people comfortably.
Well equipped -- a full-sized fridge with a smaller-sized freezer, a ceramic stovetop hob, oven, and a microwave. There is no dishwasher.
The dining area is off on its own with a breakfast buffet area and a dining table, which seats 4.
There is a separate laundry and utility room, which includes a washer and a no-tumble dryer. There is both hanging space outside and a clotheshorse to dry laundry.
Romantic, airy and delightfully colourful, the bedroom is a retreat for sore eyes and feet!
A luxurious headboard in Louis XV style, with the loveliest French grey velvet that decorates the British king-sized bed of 160cm.
There is a closet with hanging and drawer space for two, 2 bedside tables, reading lamps, and an antique make-up table with mirror.
There are no shutters, but owners have placed double sets of curtains in order to enjoy late mornings in on your holiday.
There is an air conditioning unit.
In a glossy, deep purple, the shower room is stunning.
There is plenty of storage space for personal belongings, a towel warmer, and a lovely walk-in shower with rain head and handheld shower.
The toilet is found in a separate WC room for privacy.

Great location near the port and restaurants such as Sentimi, shops and old town. We really enjpyed our stay there. Apartment has everything you need and staff are helpful with bookings and making you feel so welcome.

Very nice apartment - great location. As part of the rental we were picked up at the airport and dropped off at our apartment, the drive was about 10 minutes. The neighborhood was very nice with plenty of shops and restaurants. Our apartment was spacious, air conditioned and quiet. The wi-fi and television worked perfectly. We loved having a full kitchen and laundry machine. The apartment is within a five minute walk of Place Garibald, five minutes to the beach and two minutes to the port. The booking process was easy and the people we dealt with were brilliant.

We spent a a few days in Nice, the apartment was excellent, very well appointed, with great facilities, the linen etc was of a very high quality and the a/c was fantastic as our stay was during a heatwave. Sunlight arranged taxi transfers from the station which was worthwhile as the drivers spoke English and gave us useful tips on getting around. We had big bags and the apartment has a lift which we needed.

April 2014 My husband and I stayed in this apartment for a week over the Easter holidays. The apartment is in a great location with the port, Place Garibaldi, the promendade and the old town all within easy walking distance. The bus for Monaco/Eze etc is a two minute walk and there are boulangeries and supermarkets around the corner so everything is really on the doorstep. The apartment is exactly as it looks in the pictures and we found it spotlessly clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. There was a great shower and the bedding was of a high quality and very comfortable. We appreciated that there were lots of 'basics' provided such as washing up liquid, kitchen towels, washing powder, coffee etc . We were met at the apartment by the rep , Dana, she was so helpful and had all the hard work of finding our bearings done for us by the time she left. My only criticism of the place is that the communal hallways aren't very attractive but it was very secure and for the most part pretty quiet. I would definitely stay in this apartment again and would recommend it to other couples.

We have just returned from a fabulous trip to Nice. We stayed for 5 nights in this wonderful apartment which is a mere dander to the port and the old town. It was perfect. The apartment is exactly as it looks in the photos; clean, fresh and modern with everything you would need to have enjoyable holiday. The property manager (Dana) could not have been more helpful leading up to and during our stay. my husband and I are just trying to workout when we can go back to this wonderful city!
