Location and style on the French Riviera! This property is perfectly located in old Nice. That’s where you want to be for dining, shopping, and easy access to the beach. Everything is within a few minutes right outside the apartment building’s door. The apartment itself is spacious and beautiful. Very charming and a nice change of pace from hotels Our family appreciated the comfortable beds and perfectly working AC! The management company is extremely helpful and very responsive. You will feel right at home here and any needs you may have will be well taken care of. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer to explore more of the beautiful coast. This is the perfect home base and we highly recommend!

This is the perfect location for a stay in Nice! Elena and everyone at Sunlight properties was extremely responsive even prior to arrival - helping me to arrange crib and high chair drop off for my 20 month old. Elena greeted us at the property within an hour of landing at the airport. She also arranged a taxi with a car seat for our return flight to the United States. A few takeaways: our wifi/television went out three days after arrival and our contact at Sunlight properties was responsive and arrived at the apartment to troubleshoot within one hour. Through no fault of their own, it was not restored but a wifi hot spot was provided so we could access our telephones. The dryer is not a standard American dryer, and did not fully dry our clothes so line drying was required. Overall, five stars. We would love to return back! Excellent service.

Sunlight Properties did a fantastic job preparing the space for our stay. The property was exactly as described in the listing, and there was a very thorough guide provided which was very helpful. It’s also in a fantastic area in Nice which made our travelling very easy. Highly recommend for future bookings and I’m already planning on coming back next year.

Our stay in Nice was absolutely fantastic! Elena & team were extremely responsive and helpful during our entire stay. Elena greeted us at the door and gave us a personal tour of the property. We had an early flight in and were able to check-in early, and additionally were able to check-out late for our afternoon flight out. The property itself is very spacious and in a prime location for experiencing Nice. The air conditioning was very appreciated in the August heat, and we had plenty of space for a group of 6 adults. It is a short walk to the beach and surrounded by so many shops, restaurants and bars. Old Town is a great neighborhood to stay in, and I cannot recommend this property enough! Stay here if you ever find yourself in Nice!

This property was absolutely ideal for our needs. We visited Nice many times and this property is located in the Old Town and easy walking to the beach, restaurants, train station etc. The tram is a few minutes walk away too. The property is very well equipped and is comfortable. We were five people staying here and had 1x ensuite, separate bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet too, so no congestion in the mornings! We would highly recommend this company and their properties.

It was very great, the airport transfer was very professional, the apartment even though an old style place, was very clean with new sheets and towels. Daniela the property manager quickly stocked the place with toiletries and replaced the coffee machine when we told her. The service was very professional and the place was a fantastic location for a stay in the south of France.

A fantastic place to stay in the absolute heart of Nice. Situated in the centre of old town , it’s location could not be beaten. The space is in an old/ traditional building, which is what we wanted , but nicely renovated with plenty of space and a very functional kitchen perfect for a self catering stay. I would highly recommend this place , and will look forward to returning soon

Our family of 5 from Dublin had a great 5 night break in Nice the first week of the Easter holidays. The wonderful Cristal apartment was a super place to stay. A great location in the Old Town, very close to so many restaurants, the Cours Saleya market, Promenade des Anglais, Castle Hill and so much more. It was also very easy to get from the apartment to the Train station to take days trips to Antibes or to Monte Carlo for the Masters Tennis. The apartment was very well equipped, spacious, spotlessly clean and the Sunlight Team were very helpful. We would definitely stay there again. Andrew Bates

The Cristal is a beautiful apartment! Perfectly located in Old Nice, close to the beach, market in Cours Saleya, the Promenade Paillon, Place Massena, near cafes and bistros, (we loved Des Oiseaux- you can see from the window) or if having a night in, there’s roasted chicken and potatoes to buy up the street. Check-in is easy and Catherine and Daniela were helpful and delightful from beginning to end.

Cristal was such a perfectly equipped, clean, and centrally located apartment. Our host gave us a parking pass which was super convenient so we could discover the rest of the Côte d’Azur by car. We were right next to what became our favorite gelato spot (Fenocchio ) and steps from old Nice’s great restaurants and of course the market and promenade des anglais! We loved everything about our stay. My family of six (plus my toddler son) were incredibly comfortable for the entire week. We had a slight hiccup with the dryer, but Daniela was incredibly responsive and took care of everything we needed. Highly recommend Cristal and would absolutely return! ??

Beautiful property in a great location. Loved having the kitchen, washer/dryer and bathtub. Great showers with unbelievable water pressure and plenty of hot water. Just beware the area is loud at night so make sure you have ear plugs.

This property was very clean, spacious and well maintained, perfect for my family of 4. The beds were very comfortable with decent size bathrooms. All expected utilities were included and in great condition. Old town Nice is a beautiful place and the property location is perfect in my opinion. My family and I were there on new years and it can get a little noisy at night but it was expected in such a popular area. I would highly recommend. Thanks!

Our stay in Nice was magical, but staying at Cristal made our stay even more magical. This was our 2nd year staying at Cristal and it was as beautiful as ever. We felt like we were staying at a 5-star hotel. There was so much attention to detail. The apartment was in a perfect location. It was close to the everything – the produce market, the sea and lots of shops and restaurants. Everyone we talked to before and during our stay were so helpful. Even when it rained, it was so nice to know that we could come “home” to the comfort of our apartment. Our one regret was that we didn't meet Myrna.

My family and I really enjoyed our holiday in Nice. The accommodations were just as the picture shows on the website. Very cozy and pretty bedrooms, lovely kitchen/living area and enough bathrooms for the six of us. Also everything was spotlessly clean. This is a beautiful property. We stayed in three cities in Europe during our vacation, and this property, hands down, was the most comfortable one we stayed at. Comfortable beds, impeccably clean, plush linens, you name it, this place had it. We had a group of six, and there was plenty of room. It is in a great location, right in the heart of Nice's Old Town, but somehow remains quiet despite the hubbub on the streets below. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property, and highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Nice.

Home away from home! What a lovely property. The location is perfect for a leisurely stay in Vieux Nice or for day trips along the Cote d'Azur. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by a delightful, gentlemen representing the property. He spent a great deal of time with my husband and myself thoroughly explaining the property and the local area. The apartment is very spacious with sky high ceilings and every imaginable convenience for a week long stay. It is beautifully appointed with many lovely touches such a fresh flowers, countless candles and home fragrances throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with every imaginable appliance and a plethora of glass and tableware. There is room for six at the dining table with three additional bar stools. The American size refrigerator along with dishwasher and microwave made the kitchen complete. The living room has comfortable seating for 5 with an entertainment system. The bathrooms are large with modern showers and the bathtub in the master was a welcoming treat after a long day. The beds were extremely comfortable and cloud-like... not to mention the luxury bed linens! Did I forget to mention the very convenient Bosh washer AND dryer?! Also, a very important feature for me was the air conditioning unit(s) throughout the apartment. Each room was able to adjust to just the right temperature. The apartment is conveniently located steps away from the Cours Saleya, grocery store and many local eateries. A walk to the Port of Nice was easy and stopping by Le Rocher for lunch or dinner is a must! The trolly is an easy five minute walk with the train station only 4 stops away leading to amazing adventures! Our stay at Cristal was the icing on the cake of our 2 week stay in France! Merci beaucoup! We look forward to our return.

Just completed our stay at Cristal and it was really a wonderful experience! We had our son and daughter-in-law, my 84 year old mother, my husband and myself. First, the check in process was so informative. Bogdan was very helpful in explaining the history as well as suggestions on things to do. The apartment was clean, well appointed, had a washer AND dryer which is rare in Europe. 3 bedrooms with luxury linens was such a welcome surprise! The location was absolutely perfect! One block from Cours Saleya, and at every turn, fabulous restaurants with one of the best wine shops just half a block away. The noise was the only caution. Because it is in such a great entertainment area, the noise level was fairly loud until the wee hours but a set of ear plugs helped tremendously. I would consider this apartment again regardless of that one issue because there were a lot of positive that out weighed that tiny issue.

What an incredible place to spend some time. The location is wonderful. We have a 3 year old and there was the most enjoyable park with huge animal structures from which they could swing or slide down mere blocks away. The restaurants were fantastic in the vicinity as were the bread shops. Many beautiful and interesting sights close by. We shopped twice at a local grocery store which was a little pricey and sparse in offerings and reminded me of a bodega but found monoprixe later on, which was a much nicer more complete place to shop. The amenities were high end and impressive. There was some noise from the alley and street late at night from passerbys and the elevator broke down one of the days but all in all we would stay again if Nice is in our travel plans in the future.

Straight out of the door into the winding streets of the old town. Bars, restaurants, cafes and shopping all within touching distance. The daily market just around the corner and the Promenade d'Anglais and the beach just 5 minutes walk away. Buses and trams less than 10 minutes walk away. All that said, you may never wish to leave this well-presented apartment with enough space to sprawl and relax. Everything in it is of the highest quality; the bed linens and thick white towels are beautiful (it's a girl thing...); the beautiful decor too. We were three women getting together for a catch-up; but I can equally see me using this apartment for my husband and I. There is definitely enough space for a family. One of our party had a bit of trouble with the stairs and it should be noted that although there is a lift, it doesn't start until the first floor, which is 3-(very small) flights of stairs away. It was all still doable though. As a fussy traveller (typically a 4 / 5 star hotel is my preference) I'll definitely return to this apartment; please don't hesitate yourself. Our stay at Cristal was absolutely superb. We stayed in off peak season but the apartment was a lovely warm haven to come home to after every day spent out adventuring. The apartment had been decorated for Christmas with beautiful splashes of red and silver, poinsettias on the table and it felt lovely and festive. We stayed with our family of 4, including 2 teenage boys. It was a perfect set up, with my 17 year old staying in the bedroom in a different "wing". It was lovely and private for him to have his own space. The master bedroom was luxurious. The bed was AMAZING. My husband and I both have bad backs but our backs felt fantastic after a week at Cristal. (Then we came home to our $4000 Tempur mattress and back pain again). Management, please let me know what brand this bed was, it was awesome. The ensuite bathroom was spacious with a large shower and tub. Kitchen facilities were excellent and the large fridge has perfect of space for what we needed. Couch was not that comfy but I quickly claimed the armchair so it was all good. Being able to wash clothes was a bonus. To address a couple of points that were brought up in other guest reviews... yes, it was noisy but this apartment is right in the heart of Nice old town. You step out of the building door and you are right in the shopping precinct with markets, shops, trams, banks, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, everything you need close by. I would rate the location 5/5 and would not stay anywhere else in Nice... so I don't mind a 10 minute yahooing after closing time at the nearby bars. The bed is so comfy you will drift back to sleep in no time. Secondly, it looks like we were the next guests who stayed after the gentleman was unfortunately burgled. Diana's husband met us at check in and was extremely thorough, showing us very clearly how to engage the front door lock correctly. It was very strong and very secure and we took great care in locking it as shown and had no problems. Diana's husband also went through the public transport system with us, which was very helpful. After 5 days exploring the local area we were still uncovering little shopping alleyways and sections we had not found previously. Our favourite things in the local area were the antiques market at Cours Saleya (I think this was a Monday), other days there is fruit & veg, flower market and artworks, the Apollo fountain (which we fondly nicknamed "Apollo's Butt") and Place Massena. Thank you for a perfect stay.

If I could I would give Cristal 10 stars! Our stay in Nice (in October/November) was wonderful, but staying at Cristal made our stay really magical. Cristal was even more beautiful than we hoped it to be. We felt like we were staying at a 5-star hotel. There was so much attention to detail - so many nice amenities. The apartment was in a perfect location. It was close to the everything – the produce market, the sea and lots of shops and restaurants. Everyone we talked to before and during our stay were so helpful. Even when it rained, it was so nice to know that we could come “home” to the comfort of our apartment. Great location on a pedestrian street in Vieux Nice, with easy access to restaurants, the market and beach. In comparison with other apartments we have experienced in Europe, the apartment was quite spacious, very well equipped and functional. The kitchen is fairly newly remodeled and well supplied. The second floor location, with an elevator only from the 1st floor (second floor in US) could be an issue for those with some mobility impairment. Sunlight Properties were very pleasant to deal with, provided a good introduction to the apartment, including an excellent book of information and instructions.

The apartment is beautiful and feels high end luxury. The owner had taken the time to leave fresh flowers throughout, in time for our stay. Gorgeous apt in ideal location! Diana was amazing to work with! We truly enjoyed our stay in Nice while staying at Cristal apt. We walked to Cours Saleya every morning and the beach every afternoon. It would be hard to imagine how one could do it better. From the complimentary pick-up at the train station, to the great personal introduction to the property and its environs, to the clean, functional and beautifully designed apartment in the heart of Old Town Nice; Cristal and Sunlight Properties combined to help make our stay in Nice a fantastic one. While you can retreat into the confines of your private apartment removed from the street in quiet comfort, just outside the building's door everything is steps away (including beach, flower market, restaurants, cafes, shopping).

This was an amazing place to stay in Nice!!! It was our first trip to Nice and the apartment provided was perfect. We enjoyed the proximity to restaurants, boulangeries, the daily market and bars as well as being able to easily walk to the beach. The place was spotless and accommodated our family of 5 perfectly (‘kids’ are 23, 22 and 19.) We ?? Nice AND this apartment! The management was very quick to respond and accommodating. Do not hesitate to book this apartment!!

To sum it up: The place is amazing!! I was sceptical when I saw the nice pictures and if they meet the expectations in reality. But indeed what you see is what you get. A very cosy, extremely nicely decorated (with fresh flowers) and very clean appartment. All amenities are there and there is a booklet which answers already many questions on transportation, excursions, shops etc.. we even received two bottles of Rose wine and in fact the sundowners we took in the flat with the bustling noise from the street where better than any hotel bar :-) The appartment is right in the old town in the middle of everything. Very short walking distance to the beach, night market, castle etc.. actually there are two very good restaurants just downstairs around the corner. Very convenient if you don’t plan to make reservations and need a table before 8pm. You are rewarded with the real city life looking out of the window at nice narrow streets, old houses... so if you want to stay in the old town, that’s the place to be! Reception: our flight was delayed till early morning 1am. Nevertheless the driver waited at the airport and Jessica met us at the drop off location to guide us to the appartment. She also invested a lot of time to show us the appartment and providing us with tips. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a fantastic stay at the apartment. The decor was lovely and such an oasis after a busy day in Nice. The property manager was very helpful. We traveled around to many other small cities. I would highly recommend St Paul de Vence and Eze. We ate at the Chèvre d'Or and it was one of the best meals in our lives. Thank you for sharing your beautiful apartment.

We had a very nice stay in Nice. The holiday rental apartment is like the description, as nice as on photos. Everything clean, nice service! We did a lot of walks around Nice, but also took the bus to Saint Paul de Vence and the train to Antibes. No need for a car, great to stay in the center of Nice, lots of shops and restaurants.

We just stayed a week at Cristal and absolutely loved it. We had 3 generations ranging from their 60s to a 2 year old. The weather could not have been worse: snow and freezing rain for a week. We can tell you that the heat and hot water works just fine. The pictures show the apartment just how it is. Plenty of room and extremely well equipped to the point where there were champagne glasses when we needed them. I was not there for the instructional by Hanna but I heard that she was extremely thorough and covered all bases. What you may want to know is that, first, you will have to walk up at least one floor to even get to the elevator. No disability access that is for sure. Location could not be better, however. Close to everything that old town has to offer. Amazing number of restaurants within blocks. My summary is that I was off season, the weather was horrendous (snow on palm trees?!) but the apartment was warm and inviting. All of us really enjoyed it and recommend it without reservation. Great job!!

We loved the Cristal apartment for our girls trip! It is so beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed the restaurants and little bars/clubs within a short walk from the holiday rental apartment. We also loved shopping at the market especially the Antique market on Monday in addition to all the locally owned stores within walking distance. We did 3 day trips from Nice - all very easy from the Nice Ville train station - Cannes, Eze-Village/Monaco and Ventimiglia, Italy. We would do them all again except Ventimiglia... we wish we would have spent more time in Nice instead. Special thanks to Hanna for meeting us to orient us to the Cristal and providing local tips!! Very central location, we really enjoyed it and wished we could stay longer. Nicely furnished, loved the kitchen and could walk everywhere. It was a bit noisy, but due to party in the building in front, not the neighbours, so, I guess, it was just a bad luck. We would definitely come back.

From the outset we had great communication from the Sunlight property team. On arrival, we had an excellent complimentary one-way taxi service where we were met by Hannah. She spent time with us showing the property, how things work and answering questions about the local area. She was really brilliant and really helpful - thank you again. The property itself was beautiful - well appointed and extremely clean and tidy and plenty of kitchen and other accessories available. Fresh roses from the market also were provided as were two lovely bottles of Rose. Just a stunning apartment. Location of the property was ideal - a few minutes walk to the sea and close to all lovely shops/cafes and restaurants. A really brilliant location. Thoroughly enjoyed time in Nice waling along the promenade, in the markets and old part of Nice, the trip to Antibes and the bus ride along the coast to Monaco. 4 nights was great but could have spent longer! Overall, a very wonderful stay in a brilliant apartment in a really lovely area of France. Will be back!

I cannot rate the Cristal Apartment highly enough. It is impeccably appointed and is spotless throughout. It was a real pleasure for us to stay here. A really rare find. The apartment is in an unrivaled location near the Palais de Justice, close to the beach and about a five-minute walk from the tram. There are lots of quaint bars and restaurants nearby including the famous Bar des Oiseaux! If you are looking at this Apartment, don't hesitate. You will not be disappointed. I am a notoriously fussy traveller and this ticked all the boxes. It was a real pleasure to stay in this stunning apartment. I will be returning as soon as I can....

This apartment is amazing. Check in and out was stress free. They arranged a free transfer that picked us up at the airport, Hanna was waiting to meet us and show us around. She also organised a transfer for our friend for the next day and to pick us up going home again. The service was excellent. The location is fantastic, and the apartment itself is brilliant. I would highly recommend.

This is probably the 20th VRBO space I've rented and the nicest. It is completely refurbished and decorated beautifully. It looks just like the pictures. It had lots of plates and glasses and cookware so you are good to go if you want to cook. They started us off with two bottles of Rose in the fridge. Hanna, the manager was FANTASTIC! She gave all the info needed to use everything in the house and set up our airport ride, confirmed rides and recommended places for whatever we wanted. It is right downtown in Old Town Nice... walk out your door and tons of restaurants and entertainment and the beach 3 blocks away... shut the windows and its quiet. My only complaint is we only stayed 2 nights on our way from Paris to Rome... next time I will book a week! Thank you Hanna!!!

This apartment is well appointed, spacious, clean and very close to all the amenities. A delightful experience with check in. Great Location in the old town of Nice. I highly recommend it. Car park is very close at Indigo Saleya and once you drive in, walk up to the ticket office and upgrade to a multi day pass. This is only a three minute walk away. I don't think you can go past this apartment in Nice. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Cristal - the apartment is gorgeous! Very well appointed, with all amenities one would need for a perfect stay. The apartment is very bright and airy, and the chandeliers add to the charm and give it a touch of luxury! The beds were super comfortable, especially the super king size bed in the master bedroom. The bathrooms are very large with plenty of space to move around inside the showers too. The bathroom in the master bedroom as well as having a lovely walk in shower also features a wonderful roll top bath, which we enjoyed using very much! There is plenty of storage space and there is an ample walk in wardrobe in the master room too. The laundry room inside the apartment came in very handy, we were able to wash and dry all of our clothes, even the washing tablets were provided for us! There were also organic toiletries for us to use in the bathrooms. The apartment is in the perfect location, at the heart of the old town of Nice, restaurants, bars, bakeries, etc all at your doorstep! Also very close to public transport links, such as the tramway which can take you to the central train and bus stations for a day trip to the many idyllic towns on the French Riviera - we definitely took full advantage of this! All in all, we definitely had a perfect stay, and we would also like to mention that Hanna our property agent, went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as relaxing and enjoyable as possible; we even had an issue with being locked out of the apartment without our key on one occasion, and Hanna was fantastic at dealing with the issue, she resolved the issue for us as swiftly and calmly as possible - thank you Hanna! We absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone considering a holiday to Nice, we will definitely be back soon!

Cristal is a beautiful home right in the heart of old town. It is a perfect location to restaurants, shopping and steps away from the local nightlife. Elena was an absolute pleasure and very helpful. Our group of 6 were very comfortable staying her for a few days.

Whether you are a family or a set of couples looking for a large, centrally located and totally fabulous place to stay, this is it! You can't beat its location in the heart of the Old Town, but don't worry about noise as the interior is a quiet and beautifully furnished oasis. There are two parks within a 10 minute walk, so Cristal is perfect if you have kids. The communication and service from Sunlight Properties was exceptional. Having the taxi from the airport pre-arranged was such a treat, and small details like fresh flowers made the stay super special.

The apartment is beautiful, functional, and an excellent home base for any trip to the French Riviera. It is conveniently tucked away on a lively street in Old Town Nice. Tons of restaurants are merely steps away and lots of cute boutiques. An added bonus is that the outdoor market is also only one block from the holiday rental apartment. Our host, Hanna was so sweet and incredibly helpful. She took the time to give us restaurant recommendations, tell us a little about the nightlife in the area and offer some sightseeing tips... and all of her suggestions were excellent! This vacation rental is modern, well appointed, and very clean. There are some stairs that you will have to get your bags up before you reach the lift but that wasn't really a problem and Hanna helped us get everything into the apartment. They also arranged our transfers for us and the driver was prompt and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about our experience and I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a lovely stay in Nice! Thank you, Hanna -- we will be back again soon!
