Nice, France--Port area: Refurbished, 2 Bedroom, stunning holiday rental apartment with air conditioning, minutes to Port, beach, and Old Town

The place was really good and central. We found everything you could need on site. We would book this apartment again any time.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment, it was very spacious, clean, and in a perfect location - just a few minutes walk from restaurants, a supermarket and bakeries, and ~15 minutes walk from most of the main tourist attractions we visited.

Lovely home, clean and wonderful location! Absolutely ideal to walk to the port, many restaurants, cafes, grocery, the train is close, beach is extremely convenient well. Very clean and well maintained, the aircon was much appreciated as well. Communication was always on point, friendly and quick. Great local suggestions as well. As the listing states, there is no lift but we didn’t find this to be an issue. The only thing to note and not miss within the description (which I did…it wasn’t an issue…I just overlooked it) there are 1.5 bathrooms…however one bathroom has the shower and bath tub plus the full sink with no toilet and then there is a small hallways bathroom with only a toilet. So if you have 6 people like we did, you just may have to coordinate :) Again no issues, just want to mention as I overlooked this part, didn’t hinder our stay whatsoever though! Highly recommend!

Excelente lugar, nos gusto mucho para toda la familia, los mejores paisajes y muchas opciones de playa…. Pudimos incluso ir hasta Monaco fácilmente Excellent place, we liked it a lot for the whole family, the best landscapes and many beach options…. We were able to even go all the way to Monaco easily

The apartment is very pleasing, comfortable and pleasing. It has a very modern design inside. All the things that you need in a house is there, esp inside the kitchen. The rooms are very relaxing as well.

Appartement rénové avec goût et propre dans un ancien immeuble niçois. La localisation est parfaite dans le quartier du port. Tout est à proximité à pieds. L’appartement se trouve à quelques pas de la place Garibaldi qui est bien desservie. Je recommande!

The apartment is spacious and stylishly decorated, and very conveniently located very close to restaurants, shops etc in the old town close to Garibaldi Square and the port area. The apartment is on the 4th floor so there are a number of flights of stairs which we expected, and the condition of the stairwell is quite poor, so initial impressions were not the best but once in the apartment it was pleasant and modern.

Nice apartment in the old Port neighborhood, it's on the fourth floor if you count street level as the first floor (as most American visitors will likely be used to doing). Communication with host both before and during the stay were top notch - best I've seen. Host meet us and was very helpful. A problem with the AC system dripping water was solved within 24h. Apartment is renovated and in very good shape, but the building and hallways are very old and don't reflect as well. The host probably does not have much control over this aspect. We had a terrific stay and would definitely rent from Sunlight properties again.

We loved the location, set in Old Nice amongst the locals away from the busy touristy areas and nearby the Port. It has some very hip bars, nice restaurants, supermarket minutes walk away and fancy boutiques stores. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there very much.

Hard to fault Sapphire. High quality fittings and dressing throughout gives a cared for feel to the place. The kitchen has all the implements you should need to make most meals if you're cooking - we loved getting fresh bread round the corner at the Spar and having a leisurely breakfast before heading out for the day. There is only one toilet, but it is separate from the bathroom which helps with timing for a family. The shower itself was easy to control and worked great. Air-con was also brilliant - we thankfully missed the heatwave, but it was still around 30 most days. Sapphire is very near the port, has some bars close by but not so close they're intrusive, and the old town is about a 10 minute walk away. The only downsides were it's on the 3rd floor so it will keep you fit, (stairs not too steep) and there is no balcony or outside space to eat or sit out on (there don't appear to be many in Nice anyway).

Very high standard apartment. Excellent location, 5 minutes walk to harbour. Grocery store just around the corner. Quiet street, evening and at night. Lot of restaurants and bars a few minutes walk away. We had a very pleasant stay, 4 ladies.

Sentral og komfortabel leilighet, som hadde alt vi trengte for vårt 10 dagers opphold i NIce. God plass for en familie på 4. Gode senger og dyner. God aircondition på begge soverommene og i stuen. Savnet av og til at det ikke var heis i bygget. Trikk og buss var i nærheten slik at det var lettvint å komme seg imellom hvis man ville litt utenfor sentrum. Butikker, barer og restauranter ligger i kort avstand til leiligheten. Anbefaler denne leiligheten.

"Central apartment. Very well equipped, to feel at home" I have stayed with my friends in this apartment. Very centrally located, 2 minutes from Place Garibaldi and about 10 minutes walk from the Place Massena. In its vicinity are numerous restaurants and supermarkets. Comprehensive, comfortable and well decorated apartment makes you feel at home. Special thanks to Dana, very friendly at all times, not only we properly explain the operation of the hippest if I also told us about the city of Nice and its surroundings ... ect. 10 for this girl. If we went to Nice would repeat without a doubt in the same apartment. Apartamento céntrico. Muy bien equipado, para sentirte como en casa” Me he alojado junto con mis amigos en esta apartamento. Muy céntrico, a 2 minutos de la Place Garibaldi y unos 10 minutos caminando de la Place Massena. En sus alrededores numerosos restaurantes y supermercados. Apartamento muy completo, cómodo y bien decorado que te hace sentir como en casa. Un agradecimiento especial a Dana, muy amable en todo momento, no solo nos explico correctamente el funcionamiento del apartamente si no que también nos comento a cerca de la ciudad de Niza, sus alrededores ...ect. Un 10 para esta chica. Si volvieramos a Niza repetiriamos sin duda alguna en el mismo apartamento.

Great apartment near the port, Garibaldi square, old town and the amenities. Location, location, location Rented the sapphire apartment for a week in september, for my wife and i. The apartment has two bedrooms and a sofabed. It was very spacious for two (or a family) but this was a last minute booking. Overall, i would book this apartment again Pros Clean and newly renovated apartment inside Kitchen has all that is needed- fridge, stove, washing machine, dishwasher. No dryer, but have an outdoor clothes line. The apartment is conveniently located near garabaldi square, the port, the buses to Monaco and the boardwalk. Phone Available to call Canada for free Cons: Internal apartment is great but the common building hallway is in need of renovation.

“A lovely place felt like home with great location” Our family of 4 (with young children) stayed at this apartment for a week. Location is great, walkable to the Nice port and old town. Also 5 mins walk to Place Garibaldi where there are restaurants and boulangeries. The apartment is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The property manager was very helpful, giving us tips about places to go and assisting us with dinner reservations etc. Highly recommend it.
