Neighbourhood

Have you ever dreamt of having a villa in the South of France? The next best thing is renting one. Villa Bellavista is perhaps the perfect one.

The giant patio allows you to sit with a cup of coffee and watch Villefranche wake up. No doubt, you will get to know the fruit stand and patisserie shop that are your neighbours, intimately. Just a few staircases, and you are in the heart of the village.

Villefranche sur Mer is probably a lot of people’s favourite place on the Riviera. Here’s why: it’s unpretentious. It’s bursting of personality with its maze of cobbled streets and charming shops, leading down to the postcard harbour only 5mins away.

The train station and beaches are a ten minute walk away, placing this villa in the most convenient location. If you desire to expand your adventures beyond the quaint Villefranche, the train will connect you to any city between Italy and St Tropez.

Building

A tad-bit of interesting history on this gorgeous villa: in the early 1900s, this home was built by the King of Belgium, for his mistress. Could possibly explain the luxury and pain-staking attention to details… One look at the stunning staircase and you know immediately that this was the work of a master in fine arts.

The property itself is in a very unusual diamond shape. Having over 40 windows, the natural light flows in rather pleasantly. Everything about the villa is of the highest quality with all furniture, curtains, bedding of a luxurious standard.

Living Area

A formal dining room with beautiful detailed high ceilings can accommodate ten people comfortably. Perfect for get-togethers over meals. The view from here is incredible.

On the same level, across the hall, can be found a beautifully acquainted and comfortable sitting room for ten people.

The open-fire fireplace in the corner adds a little cosy touch.

This rooms makes for a very nice gathering place, where everyone can do as they please, whether it is to curl up with a book or chat away at the table.

Kitchen

If you love to cook, you will be delighted with the kitchen. It is a Clive Christian, and is located on the bottom floor of the house. Freezer, fridge, microwave, hob, oven, dishwasher, you name it. It is perfectly equipped. It also has every pot, pan and utensil, you or your hired chef desire.

If you prefer grilling, an area outside is dedicated to the BBQ. With an adjourning outdoor table, it is the ideal setting for a summer party.

Bedrooms

With five beautiful bedrooms, Villa Bellavista is an ideal refuge for a group holiday. Three of the bedrooms have comfortable British Super King size beds of 190cm. The other two are twin suites with two 90cm beds each. Perfect if travelling with children.

Bathrooms & WC

There are five bathrooms, all modern and beautifully appointed. Each of them have WCs, bidets and power-showers, one has a bathtub. All bathrooms are very ornate and clad in pink Portuguese marble or Spanish crema Marfil.
